We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic IV Nurse to join our friendly, modern, computerised GP practice in South Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing team, with a July start available.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Advanced phlebotomy (venepuncture and blood collection)
- Administration and monitoring of IV therapies
- Assisting with Major Ozone Therapy (training provided)
- Patient assessment and clinical observations
- Stock management and clinical inventory control
- Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and patient care
- Providing general nursing support within the practice
Essential Requirements
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum of 2 years' post-registration nursing experience.
- Advanced phlebotomy skills are essential.
- Previous experience administering IV therapies is essential.
- Excellent venous access and cannulation skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
Previous General Practice nursing experience is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided in Major Ozone Therapy for the successful candidate.
