The Wellness Village is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivating Fitness Instructor to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about health and wellbeing and can deliver engaging weekly fitness classes that cater to a range of abilities in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, and effective weekly fitness classes.
- Adapt exercises to suit participants of different fitness levels and abilities.
- Create an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere where members feel motivated and supported.
- Ensure all sessions are conducted safely and in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Arrive in good time to prepare the class space and equipment.
- Build positive relationships with members and provide excellent customer service.
- Promote a positive image of The Wellness Village and support our wellbeing community.
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 certificate in personal training and/or Level 3 mat Pilates certificate
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Experience delivering group fitness classes.
Desirable Skills
- Experience teaching a variety of classes such as HIIT, Circuits, Strength & Conditioning, Functional Fitness, Bootcamp, Core, or Low-Impact Fitness.
- Additional qualifications in Pilates, Yoga, Mobility, or other wellbeing disciplines are an advantage.
