Grade IV OPD Administrator

The OPD Administrator will facilitate the development of a central referral office at NRH. This post will facilitate the implementation of a central point for receipt and initial management of every referral to NRH, to ensure the most efficient processing of each referral in an equitable manner.
The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess:
Qualifications:
A recognised and relevant qualification in administration, medical or similar of at least Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland, (QQI).
Ability to demonstrate excellent keyboard and Dictation skills is essential.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Word, Excel, Outlook, Access & SharePoint).
At least 1year satisfactory experience in a clinical administration post
Strong working knowledge of Trakcare
Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent team working and communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Must be highly motivated to complete work to the highest standard within designated timeframes.
Commitment to completing training on Inpatient and Outpatient Waiting List Protocols and operating to those guidelines.
Awareness of GDPR
A sound background in and knowledge of the Health Services Sector and knowledge of the Healthcare Records Code of Practice would be advantageous.
The post is pensionable. Salary for this post is aligned with Clerical Officer Grade IV pay-scale.
