About the Role
As a Door Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety of our customers, staff, and premises. Working as part of our security team, you'll manage entry to the venue, monitor customer welfare, prevent incidents, and respond professionally to any situations that arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Control access to the venue and check valid identification where required.
- Monitor customer behaviour and maintain a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.
- Prevent and de-escalate conflict using effective communication.
- Carry out venue patrols and report any safety or security concerns.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and evacuations when required.
- Work closely with management, staff, emergency services, and An Garda Síochána.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and venue policies.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Private Security Authority (PSA) Door Supervisor Licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, professional, and confident approach.
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts.
- Previous experience in licensed premises or the hospitality industry is desirable but not essential.
