The 4* Western Hotel is seeking a creative and enthusiastic part time Marketing & Social Media Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital marketing, social media, content creation, and brand development within the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, and showcasing our hotel & restaurant innovative digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive brand awareness and engagement across all digital channels.
- Manage and maintain the hotel website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging.
- Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok
- Develop and execute social media strategies to grow audiences and strengthen brand presence.
- Plan and manage social media competitions, giveaways, and promotional campaigns.
- Capture and create high-quality content, including photography and video, aligned with seasonal campaigns and business objectives.
- Actively promote the hotel's facilities, services & dining experiences
- Work closely with the management team to identify and develop compelling content opportunities, including new menu launches, seasonal dishes and offers, Galway themed content & behind-the-scenes features
- Collaborate with external partners, influencers, photographers, and media contacts when required.
- Monitor social media performance and engagement, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support email marketing campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Assist with SEO and digital marketing activities to improve online visibility and website performance.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in a similar marketing or social media role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
- Experience within the hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle, or retail sectors would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Creative flair with a strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and content creation.
