CSG are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our Payroll team within the Financial Accounting & Advisory Services department. .CSG is one of the leading accounting practices in Munster. The firm provides audit, accounting, taxation, corporate finance, and advisory services to a broad spectrum of clients.
Role Purpose
Responsible for accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery, client service, team support, process improvement and the commercial performance of the payroll function. Reports to senior management and works with the payroll team, clients, employers, Revenue, pension providers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review payrolls accurately, on time and in line with Irish payroll, Revenue, employment tax and data protection requirements.
- Ensure correct payroll calculations, deductions, benefits, pensions, statutory payments and Revenue submissions.
- Advise clients and colleagues on ERR, BIK, redundancy, pensions, statutory leave and taxable benefits.
- Act as a key contact for payroll clients and employers, responding to queries, changes, deadlines and compliance matters.
- Support, supervise and mentor payroll team members, including work allocation, deadline monitoring and guidance on complex issues.
- Improve payroll procedures, controls, checklists and cloud payroll processes.
- Support onboarding of new payroll clients and smooth transition to agreed payroll processes.
- Monitor payroll fees, budgets, invoicing and profitability, and support client retention and service growth.
Skills and Experience
- Strong Irish payroll experience, ideally in a payroll bureau, accountancy practice or outsourced payroll environment.
- Knowledge of PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions, statutory payments, ERR, BIK, redundancy and Revenue compliance.
- Excellent accuracy, communication, organisation and deadline management.
- Experience with payroll software, cloud systems and team supervision or mentoring is an advantage.
- IPASS qualification desirable but not essential.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary package €45,000 - €55,000 pro rata based on experience.

Pay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tralee, County Kerry
