Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with operational teams, account managers, clients and the wider QHSE team to deliver consistent QHSE standards across multiple portfolios and client accounts.
Promote a positive QHSE culture and demonstrate how QHSE adds value to the business.
Provide competent advice, guidance and practical support to managers, supervisors and operational teams to enable them to fulfil their QHSE responsibilities.
Review, develop and maintain risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), safe systems of work, site packs and compliance documentation.
Act as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) where required, ensuring design risks are identified, assessed, communicated and managed in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations.
Lead and support incident investigations, hazard reporting, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives across client sites.
Deliver QHSE training, inductions, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
Conduct compliance audits, inspections and site visits.
Support account mobilisation projects, ensuring QHSE governance, documentation, training, and compliance arrangements are established from the outset.
Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO management systems, including internal and external audits for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
Analyse QHSE performance data, identify trends, prepare reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on QHSE matters and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and manage a team of QHSE advisors.
About You:
Relevant experience within facilities management, engineering, construction, technical services, or a similar operational environment.
Hold, as a minimum, a Level 7 qualification in Occupational Safety, Health & Welfare, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
NEBOSH qualification or equivalent professional certification.
Proven experience in QHSE leadership, audits, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and compliance management.
Experience acting as PSDP and coordinating construction-related health and safety requirements.
It is recommended (though not mandatory) to hold a relevant full driving license and be willing to travel within client sites; a vehicle will be provided.
Experience leading and managing QHSE teams in a multi-site operational environment.
Ability to be based on client sites and travel between locations as required.
Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams.
Experience managing QHSE activities across multiple client accounts and complex operational environments.
