Eplus is looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Worker to join our Separated Children Seeking International Protection (SCSIP) Transport and Accompaniment Service. In this role, you will support vulnerable young people in Tusla care by helping them attend appointments, access services and participate in opportunities that contribute to their wellbeing, development and future success.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with young people, building positive relationships and making a practical difference every day.

Eplus is a national child and family support charity delivering trauma-informed services to children, young people and families across Ireland. Working alongside agencies including Tusla and the HSE, we provide flexible, relationship-based support that promotes safety, stability and positive outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Safely transport and accompany children and young people to appointments, meetings and activities.
- Support attendance at healthcare, education, legal and social work appointments.
- Build positive professional relationships with young people.
- Encourage participation, independence and engagement
- Maintain accurate records and service documentation
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns in line with organisational procedures.
- Work closely with the Service Coordinator and wider team. No two days are the same. One day you may be accompanying a young person to a healthcare appointment, while the next could involve supporting attendance at an education setting, legal appointment or important support service.
What You'll Bring
· A Level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline and/or significant experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals
- Experience supporting children and young people.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- A full clean driving licence and confidence driving throughout Dublin and surrounding counties. Fleet vehicles are provided during working hours
Desirable
- Experience working with separated children seeking international protection.
- Experience supporting children and young people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in social care, youth work, family support, education or childcare services.
- Additional training in safeguarding or trauma-informed practice.
- Fluency in a language other than English.
