Job Title: Pharmacy Area Manager
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: On the road across Munster & South Leinster (Monday to Friday)
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Area Manager team in a fast growing and recently rebranded pharmacy group - Vital Pharmacies (previously totalhealth and Haven pharmacies).
We’re looking for a pharmacy professional with OTC and front of shop experience to support and develop a network of pharmacies across Munster and South Leinster.
This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on improving operational standards, team performance, and commercial results. You’ll work closely with pharmacy teams, store owners, and the Support Office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pharmacies to improve dispensary and retail performance
- Driving standards, compliance, and profitability across multiple sites
- Advising on ordering, claims, stock control, and category performance
- Delivering on-the-ground training and coaching to pharmacy teams
- Working with key stakeholders to identify and implement improvements
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in retail pharmacy
- Strong understanding retail operations (dispensary knowledge an advantage)
- Commercially aware, with a focus on improving performance
- Confident influencing and supporting teams
- Organised and comfortable managing a regional, field-based role
- Full clean driving licence
