About Us
Muttugly is a fun, fast-paced pet grooming and care business dedicated to keeping our furry clients happy, healthy, and looking their best. We're looking for a warm, organized, and dog-loving receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients (and their pets!).
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries promptly and professionally. Booking System AI (Paws does helps with their paws :)
- Process payments and handle point-of-sale transactions
- Maintain accurate client and pet records (medical notes, grooming preferences, etc.)
- Keep the reception and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Manage retail sales of pet products, if applicable
- Communicate with groomers/staff to keep appointments running on schedule
- Handle client concerns or complaints calmly and professionally
- Assist with basic administrative tasks (inventory, supply orders, filing)
Requirements
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
- Comfortable and confident around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- Basic computer skills (scheduling software, email, POS systems)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally assist with handling pets
Nice to Have
- Experience in a grooming salon, veterinary clinic, or pet care setting
- Knowledge of dog breeds and basic pet care
