Location: Drogheda /Louth
Employment Type: Full-Time (Up to 48 hours per week)
Shifts: Night shifts on a 7-day roster - possible weekends also on Days
Rate: Current ERO Security Rate + Night Allowance
About the Role
We are currently seeking multiple reliable and professional Security Officer to provide security services at a construction site.
Requirements:
- Valid PSA Licence (essential)
- Excellent spoken and written English (essential)
- Safe Pass certification would be beneficial
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records
- Strong observational and communication skills
Working Hours:
- Nightly shifts: 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend work required
- Additional security assignments may be available in the local area for suitable candidates
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the construction site to ensure the security of personnel, equipment, and property
- Monitor site access and report any suspicious activity
- Maintain accurate patrol records and complete all required incident and occurrence reports
- Record relevant site information, observations, and security-related events in logbooks or electronic reporting systems
- Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Ensure all security procedures and site instructions are followed
- Liaise with management and emergency services when required
