EVENT LIAISON (IN-PERSON)
We require an Event Liaison for our upcoming event on 4-6 September 2026 in Cork city.
Essential Requirements of this role are:
- General knowledge of IT
- Willing to operate book stand
- Liaise with delegates and hotel staff at local event
- Available 4-6 September 2026 in Cork City
- Willing to operate point-of-sale device
- Cash handling
- Efficient stock control
- Excellent communication & presentation
- Outgoing personality
- Able to use initiative
- Basic tech skills
- Excellent phone manner
- Attend series of meetings online as required (paid)
- Publicise and develop awareness of upcoming courses
- Providing information in the form of posters, leaflets & other means on our upcoming event in Cork
- Punctual & Reliable
- Responsive
- Highly courteous
- Extremely customer-focussed
Desirable
- Interest in Literature & Creative Writing
- Driving licence
- Advanced IT Skills
- Publicity skills & experience
- Experience of Similar Events
- Remuneration
- €15.05 per hour
- Hours 0-4 weekly
