We are looking for an ambitious Sales Executive to join our growing team in Dundalk and help drive the adoption of cutting-edge renewable energy solutions across Ireland.
At Heat Pumps Ireland, we are proud to be one of the country’s leading suppliers of heat pump systems, working with homeowners, trade clients and the construction industry nationwide. As the exclusive Irish distributor of Thermia heat pumps, we deliver next-generation geothermal and air-to-water systems, alongside underfloor heating, solar PV, and ventilation solutions.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, office-based sales role combining inbound lead management with proactive business development.
You will work with homeowners and plumbing clients to design tailored renewable energy solutions, while also building strong relationships within the construction sector (builders, plumbers, architects).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert inbound sales enquiries from residential and commercial customers
- Conduct client consultations (by phone) to assess heating and retrofit requirements
- Design and propose optimal renewable energy solutions including heat pumps and complementary systems (underfloor heating, radiators, solar pv)
- Prepare detailed quotations and follow through to close
- Build and maintain relationships with building contractors, plumbers, and architects nationwide
- Develop new business opportunities through networking and outbound activity
- Maintain a strong and organised sales pipeline
- Stay informed on industry trends, grants, and competitor activity
- Deliver excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals
What We are Looking For
- 1–3 years’ sales experience (renewables, construction or technical sales an advantage)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Interest in renewable energy and sustainability
- Full driving licence (beneficial but not essential)
- 3rd level qualification in Business, Marketing or related field (desirable, not essential)
