We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Carpenter / Carpentry Foreman to oversee and manage residential attic conversion projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor on-site carpentry teams.
Manage the day-to-day delivery of attic conversion and residential refurbishment projects.
Ensure all work meets quality standards, project specifications, and building regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, and clients.
Monitor project schedules, labour, and materials to ensure efficient project delivery.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant work environment.
Conduct quality inspections and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
Requirements
Qualified carpenter with extensive residential construction experience.
Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor, Lead Carpenter, or similar leadership role.
Experience with attic/loft conversions, home extensions, or residential refurbishments is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and health and safety requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Full, clean driver's licence.
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Pay: €49,149.59-€71,892.50 per year
