Job description.
As part of our ever-growing expansion of Kiernan Engineering across all sectors in the Cork region, we require qualified Electricians for Industrial and Oil & Gas projects in Cork.
- Industrial Electricians and Registered Apprentices
- Project is large scale Pharmaceutical Plant based in Cork Harbour.
- Long-term projects with a guarantee of a minimum of 2 years plus in Cork
Key Functions:
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Install of electrical apparatus and equipment
- Testing and commissioning of electrical installations
- Installation of containment services and associated components
- Cabling installation, terminating and glanding
- Ensure all QHSE requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencing
- Working as part of a team on multi-disciplined projects
- Knowledge of Electrical circuitry and safe Electrical installation methods, on site.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Cork, Cork, CO. Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Electrician: 1 year (preferred)
- Registered under Solas Electrical Apprenticeship 2nd-4th Years
Licence/Certification:
- Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
- Safe Pass (preferred)
Qualifications:
- FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or equivalent
Experience:
- Experience in Commercial, Industrial and Pharmaceutical projects is desirable
