Optilase is currently hiring a Part-Time or Full-Time Quality & Accreditation Lead to oversee and drive quality, compliance, and accreditation activities across our growing network of clinics. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality professional to lead the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement are maintained across all sites.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Leading the Quality & Patient Safety Programme for Optilase
- Maintaining our accreditation standard
- Leading and maintaining the quality management system in Carrickmines across all clinics
- Managing the Clinical Governance meetings for Optilase, and ensuring issues are escalated to the Chief Operating Officer/Operations Director when required
- Implementation of accreditation standard in all clinics in a phased approach
- Twice yearly quality & patient safety summary report to the Governing Entity
- Maintaining the quality system to manage documentation and policies
- Development of policies and procedures with the multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring and measuring processes in accordance with quality and patient safety goals and KPIs
- Supporting clinic teams with patient feedback and identifying learnings from complaints and incidents
- Streamlining policies across the group
- Supporting the continuous improvement process across the group
- Responsible for developing and overseeing the Optilase Change Management Procedure and to review and approve changes to the QMS
- Responsible for developing and overseeing the Optilase Incident Management Procedure and to review all deviations, CAPAs and improvements plan
- Responsible for developing and overseeing the Complaint Management Procedure and to review all complaints and oversee CAPAs and improvements plan
- Responsible for supporting the training process to ensure training is specified, recorded and records are maintained
- Responsible for developing and overseeing the Optilase Quality Audit schedule and to review all Internal/Supplier’s Audit reports
- Responsible for developing and overseeing the Optilase Risk Management Procedure and to review and approve risk assessments
- Support management to ensure equipment are appropriately maintained, serviced and calibrated
- Owning all data requests and DPO role
