We are a well-established Chinese restaurant in Ireland, looking for an experienced and passionate Chinese Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in authentic Chinese cuisine, strong wok skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality Chinese dishes, ensuring authenticity and consistency.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, ingredient selection, and inventory control.
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with local regulations.
- Work efficiently in a team and assist in training junior kitchen staff if needed.
- Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during busy service hours.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chinese Chef, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Expertise in traditional Chinese cooking techniques, including wok cooking, steaming, and roasting.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid work permit (if applicable) and
- willingness to relocate if needed.
