Job Title: School Bus Driver

This role will be approx 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon Monday to Friday.
Job Description:
Ashbourne Connect is seeking a reliable and professional Bus Driver to join our team for weekday schoolbus operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, punctual, and customer-focused transport services to passengers, ensuring a high standard of care and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company buses along assigned routes and schedules
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers as required
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle
- Handle ticketing or passenger verification where applicable
Requirements:
- Valid and up-to-date bus driving licence (Category D)
- Driver CPC qualification
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday (weekday shifts)
- Hours may vary depending on route schedules
