Full-Time Childminder / Nanny (Additional Needs Experience Essential)
Location: Blackrock, Cork
Position: Full-Time, Long-Term
We are a warm, organised family based in Blackrock, Cork seeking an experienced and reliable full-time childminder to support our two young children ages 4 and 5.
This is a long-term position for someone who is nurturing, proactive, and confident, supporting a child with additional needs. We are looking for a calm, capable presence who can provide consistency, structure, and warmth within our home.
Role Includes:
- School drop-offs and collections
- Supporting after-school activities and structured play
- Outdoor adventures and active engagement
- Emotional regulation support where required
- Light housekeeping and general running of the home
- Meal preparation for the children
- Maintaining routine and organisation
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (full-time daytime hours) 11.30am-6.30pm
Essential Requirements:
- Proven previous childcare experience
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Full clean driving licence
- Excellent references
Highly Desirable:
- Background as a Preschool Teacher, Early Years Educator or SNA
- Experience working within structured educational or therapeutic settings
