We are a busy GP Practice and are looking for a friendly, professional, caring individual who is self-motivated, shows initiative and can work well as part of a team (5 practice nurses and 3 Advance Nurse Practitioners)
Responsibilities include standard Practice Nurse duties as outlined below:
- Vaccinations (Infant, adult, travel) and management of vaccine ordering and claiming
- Smear tests
- Chronic Disease Management (24 hour BP monitor, ECGs, leading on CDM Clinics)
- General Phlebotomy
- Procedures (Ear Syringing, Suture removal)
- Dressings
- Health promotion and education
- Developing and fine tuning practice and nursing protocols
- Providing patient follow up
- Clinical stock management
- Close working relationship with the Clinical Team and Practice Manager
Candidates must be a Registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais. Induction and training will be offered to the successful candidate.
