We are a growing plastics manufacturing company specializing in high-quality products for diverse industries. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, we are seeking an experienced manager to lead our manufacturing operations.
There is a 39 hour working week, with overtime as required.
This management position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all production activities to ensure products are manufactured safely, on time, and to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. a general knowledge of carpentry machinery would be an advantage. (on site training will be provided
Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. Co-ordinate with members of staff to ensure smooth running of the company. Ensure safety compliance at all times. Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs. Manage staffing levels, shift schedules, and training requirements. Proven leadership and people management skills. Solid understanding of production planning, quality systems, and safety practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
