Tall Trees Childcare are looking for an enthusiastic,motivated, caring and qualified Early Years AIM Support Educator to join our team in County Limerick (V94 K577). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a nice friendly play-based childcare facility .
At Tall Trees Childcare we cater for all childcare needs of children aged between 1 and 12 years.
As we plan for our new school year and due to continued growth and demand, we are looking for an Early Years AIM Support Educator to become part of our dedicated and established team.
About the role:
- Based on the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) providing guidance, support and assistance to the child in question or to the room when, and as, needed.
- Providing support to increase child’s access and inclusion into daily group activities and group play.
- Planning, preparation and implementation of activities tailored to the specific child’s needs, to help engage and encourage positive peer interactions, in collaboration with other educators.
- Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating classroom where all children feel safe and valued.
- Establishing and building a positive relationship with all children, their families and your co-workers.
- Record keeping and relevant administrative tasks.
About You:
- You will hold a minimum QQI Level 5 Childcare/Early Years Qualification.
- Have gained at least 6 months experience in a childcare role.
- Be passionate about early childhood education.
- Have an ability to plan, prepare and implement activities tailored to a specific child’s needs.
- Be patient, with excellent observational and communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Have the ability to keep calm under pressure and treat everyone with respect.
- Fluent spoken and written English essential
Pay rate reflects current ERO.
Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour
