We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our team, carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair works across residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
* Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
* Repair and replace sockets, switches, lighting, fittings and electrical components.
* Carry out electrical testing and inspections as required.
* Maintain emergency lighting and associated electrical systems.
* Investigate electrical breakdowns and provide appropriate solutions.
* Identify potential electrical or safety issues and report recommendations for remedial works.
* Complete maintenance reports and provide clear details of works carried out.
* Provide photographs and supporting information where additional works or quotations are required.
* Liaise professionally with tenants, property managers, landlords and other contractors.
* Ensure work areas are left clean, safe and tidy following completion.
* Comply with all relevant Irish electrical regulations, Health & Safety requirements and company procedures.
Requirements
* Qualified electrician with relevant trade qualifications.
* Previous experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding.
* Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial electrical systems.
* Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Professional and presentable when attending occupied properties.
* Ability to accurately document works completed and materials required.
* Good time management and ability to manage multiple maintenance jobs.
Role
This is a hands-on maintenance position suited to an electrician who is comfortable working independently and dealing with a variety of electrical issues on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide a professional service from initial diagnosis through to completion, while keeping the office informed where further works, materials or specialist attendance are required.
