We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of two takeaway coffee shop locations in Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring consistent product quality and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of two coffee shop locations
- Supervise, train, and schedule staff to ensure adequate cover
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Monitor sales performance and implement measures to improve revenue
- Control costs, including labour and stock, in line with business targets
- Order stock, manage inventory, and liaise with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Maintain quality control of all beverages and food products
- Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional manner
- Prepare reports on sales, staffing, and operational performance
- 40 hours per week (flexible shifts, including weekends)
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality (coffee shop or similar environment)
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Experience in stock control and supplier coordination
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good level of English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations
Preferred (but not essential)
- Barista experience
- Experience managing more than one site
- Familiarity with EPOS systems and basic financial reporting

- The role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- The position is based on-site across two locations in Limerick
Pay: €36,700.00 per year
