Exciting full-time permanent position for an experienced Sous Chef to work in a busy kitchen in Doolin, Co. Clare.
We offer meals on duty, holiday pay and accommodation if needed.
Salary based on experience.
Objective of the Role:
Reporting to Head Chef, the sous chef plays a vital role in supporting the operations and management of the kitchen, and the production of excellent food.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present dishes within your section, according to specification
- Running the kitchen in absence of head chef
- Lead by example at the forefront of the kitchen team
- Ensure good hygiene, health and safety in the kitchen
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP procedures
- Be able work under pressure
Requirements:
- Qualification in culinary arts favorable but not essential.
