Hours: Part-time (19.5 hrs per week)

Salary/Grade: €34,811 - €48,434 as of 01st June 2026 payscales

Introduction:
To ensure the provision of an excellent standard of care to the adult with a severe /profound learning difficulties and accompanying physical disabilities, and their family that is consistent with the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice.

Essential Criteria - ideally the successful candidate will possess the following:

Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment supporting adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Minimum requirement is QQI level 5 Certificate, preferably in the area of health care, community care, care for people with disabilities.

Knowledge of HIQA - National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities
- Demonstrate to be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills to deliver your activity programmes to a range of people.
- Demonstrate ability to work well in a team and liaise with other staff, volunteers, and residents.

Demonstrate commitment to ongoing training and development of self.

Full Clean Drivers licence
