Procurement Administrator - Dublin - Full-time, Hybrid (4 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

Procure all the materials required for projects and ensure they are provided on time and within allocated budgets.

Responsible for procurement to pay process from sourcing to assisting with invoice clearance.

Identify new supplier sources and recommend new sourcing strategies.

Assist in the reallocation of excess materials on projects.

Liaising with suppliers and internal staff regularly via phone and e-mail.

Being proactive with suppliers and subcontractors on price increases, material availability, and delivery logistics.

Using the in-house system to track and monitor plant and equipment orders.

Support continuous improvement culture and applying and engaging in LEAN initiatives.

Work harmoniously as a member of the procurement team, contribute to a positive team environment.

Support activities that generate and encourage an efficient, productive and continuously improving supply chain performance.

Administrative tasks.

Maintain and update the Procurement SharePoint site, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and kept up to date.

Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager.

Assist in ad-hoc Procurement projects.
Candidate Requirements
-
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.

Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not essential.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills, working to tight deadlines.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Third level qualification in a related discipline a distinct advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
