Job Details:
We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the above position in our Designated Centre (Crossroads). Candidates must be highly motivated, creative with a passion for engaging with the individuals we support on a daily basis. Candidates must be self-driven, focussed and person-centred. Working hours and shifts will be variable including day, evening, weekends & sleepovers/night duty as required. All contracts are with the Service.

To facilitate and implement a person-centred approach for the individuals we support appropriate to their wishes and goals

To promote and protect the rights of the individuals we support in a manner that respects their dignity, their right to make choices and their privacy

To actively seek new interests and opportunities for the individuals to develop meaningful roles in their communities

To ensure the overall wellbeing of the individuals in all areas of their lives including health and personal care

Experience in managing risk/risk assessments

A knowledge of the HIQA regulations and standards

Excellent IT and report writing skills
Qualification/Requirements:
-
A minimum of QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support/Social Care (A Diploma or Degree in Social Care or other relevant discipline advantageous)

6 months experience of working with people with an Intellectual Disability required

Must hold a full clean driving licence and willing to drive company vehicles
-
Be available to work a variety of day, evening, weekends, sleepovers & night duty required.
