The Role
Ardrar Ltd, trading as Bord Gáis Energy, and part of the Centrica Group, is seeking a Project Coordinator with experience in Solar PV installations and TAMS (Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme) grants to support the next phase of transformation as we accelerate our transition to a more sustainable energy future.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end delivery of Solar PV installation projects, including TAMS-funded agricultural installations
- Guide and support customers, particularly within the agricultural sector, through the TAMS grant application and approval process
- Ensure projects meet all SEAI and Department of Agriculture compliance and grant requirements
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, with close attention to grant-related timelines and deadlines
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on both installation progress and grant status
- Collaborate with operations teams, installation crews, and subcontractors to allocate resources effectively
- Ensure all teams have the necessary tools, materials, and information to complete installations
- Maintain accurate and compliant project documentation, including grant paperwork and supporting records
- Identify project and grant-related risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, particularly across grant administration and Solar PV delivery
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in project coordination or project management roles
- Experience in renewable energy, Solar PV, construction, or agricultural projects
- Knowledge or experience of TAMS grants (particularly Solar PV under TAMS) is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of Solar PV systems and installation processes
- Familiarity with SEAI schemes and Irish regulatory requirements
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach, particularly with farming clients
- Proficiency in project management tools and CRM systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- High attention to detail, particularly in compliance and grant documentation
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Full driver’s licence with willingness to travel occasionally
