To ensure we continue delivering exceptional service to everyone who visits The CCD, we are currently seeking a Senior Host (Casual, Part-Time) to join our team. Working hours will be scheduled in line with business requirements.
Key Objective
To provide an enhanced level of support to Event Managers and customer service to The CCD’s clients by acting as a liaison with the client and Event Managers and CCD Hosts during events.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Maintain liaison with Host Manager, Event Manager and act as conduit between Event Manager, Client and CCD hosts

Support Client, Host Manager and Event Manager in any given task whilst on site

Proactive leadership of the host team in preparation for breakouts and crowd movement around the building

Organise and manage CCD Hosts breaks and lunches
-
Note any anomalies in shift times and communicate these to Event Manager and on the host briefing sheet

Deal with minor issues such as room temperature, additional catering requests, cleaning issues directly with relevant departments

Assist CCD Hosts with any queries on their duties, radios, uniforms or anything else that arises

Communicate effectively with clients and ensure upmost discretion at all times

Overseeing the guests flow and assist client and delegates with queries

To assist in the selection process and the onboarding of new hosts, including training and buddy shifts
-
Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed while on duty
-
Remaining calm, and decisive during events, knowing how to delegate tasks to junior hosts effectively.

Know and understand their evacuation duties for each shift and ensure all Hosts are aware of their duties
Any other duties as advised by the Host Manager, Event Manager or the client
