Personal Assistant / Care Assistant
Part-time, alternate weekends
I am looking for reliable Personal Assistants / Care Assistants to support a 40 year old male wheelchair user at his home.
Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 08:00 to 13:00
Pay: approx. €202.70 to €225.40 per worked weekend, plus 8% holiday pay
Location: Sutton, Dublin 13
The service user uses a power wheelchair. The role involves personal care, daily routines, food preparation, light exercise support, assistance with independence, and light household tasks.
Previous experience supporting someone with a disability not essential but preferred. Experience with spinal cord injury, manual handling, or personal care would be a strong advantage.

- Comfortable with personal care
- Reliable, and punctual
- Good problem-solving skills
- Interest in health, and exercise
- Must have a valid Irish drivers license
- Must have the legal right to work in Ireland

Standard Compensation and Terms:
- Standard hourly rate: €16.22 - €18.03, depending on experience
- Rates before 8am and after 8pm: €20.26 - €22.54 per hour
- Sunday rate: €24.32 - €27.05 per hour
- Public Holiday rate: €32.42 - €36.06 per hour
- Opportunity for consistent, or flexible hours or weekend hours
- Holiday pay - 8% of hours worked
This role example:
Saturday — 5 hours: approx. €81.10–€90.15 per shift
Sunday — 5 hours: approx. €121.60–€135.25 per shift
Note - this is an Irish wheelchair Association funded position
