Experienced Groundworker Required – Mid Kerry
We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our team for a long-term, secure position working mainly in the Mid-Kerry area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a 4-year ESB subcontracted contract, working alongside an experienced 360 Excavator Driver as part of a two man gang with pickup and 3 tonne digger.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 5:00pm
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Excavator Driver and will be involved in a variety of groundwork duties relating to ESB works.
The role will include:
- Working safely around live underground services
- Identifying and locating underground services
- Installing and working with ducting
- Concrete works and reinstatement
- Ensuring all work areas are kept safe, organised and properly managed
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Groundworker
- Good knowledge and understanding of underground services
- Experience with ducting and concrete works
- Experience working safely around live services
- Strong attention to detail and a good awareness of health and safety
- A full clean driving licence
- The ability to work well as part of a team
Tickets & Training
Experience or tickets in location of underground services and sign, lighting and guarding would be a strong advantage, but are not essential.
Training will be provided to the right candidate where required.
