We're Dyno-Rod Cork, a family-run business with a 30-strong team, and we're looking for an energetic, hands-on person to join our drain repairs team. The role
You'll join our CCTV Survey and Drain Testing team, working alongside an experienced colleague to start. As you build confidence and competence in our way of working, you'll move toward working independently — and as the business keeps growing, more opportunities will open up. We invest properly in training, covering:
- CCTV surveying
- Drain testing
- Emergency drain cleaning
- High-pressure water jetting equipment
- Jetting and suction systems (jetvacs)
- Water recycling systems
- Confined space work
- Drain Repairs (trenchless techniques and excavation)
- Grease traps (maintenance and installation)
No two days look the same — domestic, commercial, and industrial customers, varied locations, and real problems to figure out on the ground.
What you'll need
- Background in drainage, plumbing, or groundworks (or transferable experience — we'll train the rest)
- Full clean driving licence (C Category an advantage)
- Flexibility with hours, including out of hours on-call rota, occasional travel and overnight stays away from base
- A genuine interest in people — you'll be solving problems for customers face-to-face every day
- Initiative, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude
- Fluent English, smart appearance, good references
Salary: Dependent on experience — the faster you build the skills to work independently, the faster your pay reflects it.
