Job Title: Egg Packing General Operative / Factory Operative
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our egg packing and distribution facility. This role involves working as part of a team to package eggs to high quality and food safety standards for delivery to wholesale customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing and grading eggs according to company and food safety standards
- Operating basic packing and grading machinery (training provided)
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure product consistency and hygiene
- Labelling and preparing products.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
Requirements
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Willingness to follow strict food safety and hygiene regulations
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
- Previous factory or food production experience is an advantage, but not essential
