Office Administrator / Administrative Assistant

Leisure Horse Ireland is seeking an Office Administrator / Administrative Assistant to join our busy team.
We're looking for a bright, capable and self-motivated individual with excellent computer skills and a willingness to take initiative in a busy office environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems and working in an environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
This is a varied role that combines office administration, customer service and document processing with practical day-to-day tasks such as preparing registration documents, assembling passport books, scanning records and managing outgoing post. No two days are quite the same, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of computer-based work and hands-on responsibilities within a busy office environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Processing applications and documentation
Managing incoming emails and customer enquiries
Data entry and record management
Preparing and editing documents, PDFs and forms
Scanning and organising digital records
Basic photo and image editing, including cropping, tidying images and saving files in required formats
Preparing, assembling and dispatching registration documents, passport books and customer correspondence
Occasional light manual tasks including document collation, book assembly and postal preparation
General office administration and customer service duties
Providing support to the wider team on a variety of projects and tasks
Requirements:
Excellent computer skills and confidence using Windows PCs
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience using Adobe Acrobat
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational and communication skills
The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
A proactive, positive and can-do attitude
We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and gets on with it. The successful candidate will be dependable, motivated and willing to take ownership of their work while contributing positively to a busy team environment.
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
Experience working with databases or online systems
Experience processing applications or records
An interest in the equine sector
Previous office administration experience is an advantage, but we are equally interested in capable people who can demonstrate the aptitude, initiative and work ethic to excel in the role.
Both part-time and full-time positions will be considered.
