The Spa Therapist at Atlantis Spa is responsible for delivering high-quality spa treatments that enhance guest relaxation, wellness, and satisfaction.
The role requires excellent technical skills, professionalism, and a warm, customer-focused approach to ensure a memorable spa experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, according to spa standards
- Conduct client consultations to assess needs, preferences, and contraindications
- Recommend appropriate treatments, products, and wellness programs to guests
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organized treatment room at all times
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and products are properly sanitized and maintained
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after treatments
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations and spa policies
- Accurately maintain client records and treatment notes
- Promote spa services, retail products, and special offers when appropriate
- Work collaboratively with other spa and hospitality team members
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Certified Spa Therapist / Massage Therapist / Beauty Therapist (relevant qualification- ITEC CIBTEC CIDESCO or NVQ equivalent)
- Proven experience in a spa, wellness centre, or hotel environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of massage techniques, skincare, and body therapies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings ,weekends and holidays
- High standards of personal hygiene and professionalism
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong customer service and guest-care skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere
- Time management and organizational skills
- Sales and product knowledge (an advantage)
