Your key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring Care and Placement Plans are effectively implemented and regularly monitored.

Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each young person, acting as their advocate.

Applying your working knowledge of the National Standards for Children's Residential Centres to guarantee compliance and best practice.

Leading, mentoring, and supporting your team to deliver exceptional care.
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced individual with a strong background in social care, holding a relevant QQI Level 7 qualification and at least three years of full-time experience working with children and young people. About The Role
As a Social Care Leader, your day-to-day will be dynamic and rewarding. Required Criteria

Minimum of 3 years full-time relevant experience in social care, working with children and young people in mainstream care.

A Bachelor's degree is required.

Must hold a QQI Level 7 in Social Science / Social Studies / Social Care, or a related field such as Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling, Addiction Counselling, Youth and Community, Family Support, or Applied Policing.

Must be registered with CORU or in the process of registration.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.

About The Company
Rainbow Community Services is an independent social care company in operation since 2005, meaning that we are celebrating our 21st Anniversary in 2026.
We currently operate three Children's Residential Centres in the Drogheda area and are in the process of developing a further two centres also in Drogheda.
