Mc Elvaney's Waste & Recycling is a family-run business established in 1985.
The company provides a Waste & Recycling Service to household and commercial customers in Co. Monaghan.
We are currently looking for General Operatives to join our team both as Wheel Bin operatives & also in our Materials Recovery Facility based in Scotch Corner, Co. Monaghan. There may be a requirement for the person selected to split work between Wheel Bin Truck and the Materials Recovery Facility.
Wheel Bin Operator:
- Collect and return customers' bins (along designated routes)
- Work outdoors with an early start (and early finish)
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations
- Represent the Company in a professional manner
- Be reliable, trustworthy and friendly
- Full training provided
Materials Recovery Facility:
- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Move and stack materials in accordance with storage practices
- A willingness to become efficient using loaders and material handler digger.
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse and duties as assigned
- Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
- Ability to work on own initiative, without constant supervision
- Be reliable, trustworthy, friendly and have a good attitude
- Full training provided
Salary: €14.50p/h
42.5 Hour Week
Breaks: 1 Hour
Wheel Bin Hours: 4.30am - 13.30pm (Monday - Friday)
Materials Recovery Facility: 8.00am - 17.30pm (Monday - Friday) & Saturday work as required & agreed
