Full-Time Barista – 2 Years' Experience Required
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join the team at our new Café & Bistro. If you're passionate about great coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a full-time position offering great working hours and the opportunity to be part of an exciting new business from the very beginning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, teas and speciality drinks to a consistently high standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for every customer.
- Operate coffee machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring drinks are prepared to company standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the café and barista station.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using the till system.
- Assist with food service and other front-of-house duties when required.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking supplies.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the café.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' previous barista experience is required.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation, milk texturing and espresso-based drinks.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and professional in both appearance and manner.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends when required.
