The Old Mill Holiday Hostel is seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy hostel in the heart of Westport.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards, and creating a welcoming and vibrant environment for guests.
Oversee the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring efficiency and high service standards
Manage guest bookings, OBS, check-ins, and reservations systems
Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and housekeeping teams
Deliver an excellent guest experience and handle feedback or complaints professionally
Monitor and manage budgets, stock, and operational costs
Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards
Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards across the hostel
Coordinate staffing training and health safety best practice proceedures
Coordinate staffing schedules and daily operations
Support marketing and promotions to maintain strong occupancy levels
Candidate should have higher education qualification in hospitality and a minimum of five years experience preferably in a hostel management role. There is no accommodation provided with this position.
Pay: €36,506.00-€37,411.61 per year
