Job Description
The Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny, require a Store Person. Must be hardworking & capable of learning the purchasing process, Stock maintenance & Inventory Control.
Main Duties & Responsibilities.
· Receive, check & sign for all deliveries to the property.
· Verify deliveries against the delivery docket and note all discrepancies.
· Ensure all stock is stored safely, securely & in the correct locations.
· Strictly adhere to stock rotation procedures (FIFO) and ensure product quality standards are maintained.
· Keep Store room, receiving area & internal storage facilities clean, tidy & well organised at all times.
· Liaise with Purchasing Manager regarding all stock issues, shortages or damaged goods.
· Assist in Maintaining accurate stock records and documentation.
· Adhere to all health, safety & hygiene procedures.
Ideal Candidate.
· Highly Organised with excellent attention to detail.
· Reliable, trustworthy & capable of working independently.
· Good communication & record-keeping skills.
· Previous experience in Stores, warehouse, stock control, retail or hospitality desirable.
· Comfortable handling deliveries and carrying out the physical aspects of the role.
· Positive attitude & work Ethic.
· Proficient in both written & oral English.
· Computer literate, Excel & Word.
