Vardis Security is currently recruiting a professional Security Officer for a night shift role at a manufacturing facility in Co. Laois.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure site during night-time operations. This role includes regular patrols, access control, monitoring site activity, reporting incidents and responding to any security or safety concerns in a professional manner.
Main duties
Carry out regular security patrols of the site
Monitor access and egress
Check doors, gates and restricted areas
Maintain a visible security presence
Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports
Report any security, safety or maintenance issues
Respond to incidents in line with site procedures
Liaise with site management when required
Follow all company and client procedures
Requirements
Valid PSA licence
Previous security experience preferred
Good written and spoken English
Reliable and punctual
Professional appearance and attitude
Able to work night shifts
Good communication skills
Able to work on own initiative
Experience working with dogs would be an advantage, if required for the site
