We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Valetor / Driver to join our busy Dublin team. This is a varied role that combines vehicle preparation, valeting, customer deliveries, collections, and general fleet support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being both on the road and hands-on around vehicles.
As a Valetor / Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet is prepared, presented, and delivered to the highest standards. You'll help maximise vehicle availability, maintain our professional image, and ensure customers receive vehicles that are clean, safe, and ready for the road.
No two days are the same. One day you could be preparing vehicles for rental, and the next you could be delivering a vehicle to a customer or collecting one back into the depot.

Clean and valet vehicles to a high standard, both internally and externally

Prepare vehicles for hire, ensuring they meet company presentation and cleanliness standards

Carry out final quality checks before vehicles are handed over to customers

Ensure vehicles are fuelled and ready for immediate use

Deliver vehicles to customers across the region in a professional and courteous manner

Collect vehicles from customer sites and return them safely to the depot

Complete vehicle handovers and collections in line with company procedures

Represent Northgate professionally while interacting with customers

Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and collections

Complete basic vehicle checks including tyres, lights, fluid levels, and general condition

Identify and report any damage, faults, or defects promptly
-
Accurately record vehicle condition before and after customer use

Assist with maintaining fleet records where required

Work closely with the Rental Team to ensure vehicles are available when needed

Safely move vehicles around the depot and workshop areas

Support operational requirements during busy periods

Help maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment

Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures

Use cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly
-
Ensure all vehicle movements are carried out safely and compliantly

Keep work areas clean, safe, and free from hazards

Full, clean Category B driving licence

Confident driving a range of cars and light commercial vehicles

Strong attention to detail

Approximately 80% vehicle valeting and preparation duties

Approximately 20% driving, vehicle deliveries, and collections
