Responsible to: Leisure Centre Manager
Main purpose of Job:
We are looking for a flexible and reliable person to ensure the cleaning standards of our pools, gym and surrounding areas of the leisure centre are maintained to a high standard. Part of the role requires deep cleaning using machinery.
Main Duties:
- Clean and sanitise gym, poolside, pool, changing rooms, showers and toilets.
- Vacuum, mop, dust and wipe surfaces and equipment.
- Empty bins and replenish consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Use and store cleaning chemicals safely (training provided).
- Report maintenance and safety issues and stock needs.
- Assist with quick turnarounds and occasional customer enquiries.
Essential requirements:
- Reliable, punctual and able to work mainly evenings with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing, using cleaning machines).
- Able to follow instructions and health & safety guidance.
- Willingness to undertake training (manual handling, chemical use, etc).
Job Type: Part-time
