Parts Manager / Stores Person

Due to the continued expansion of our business, Samco AgriSales is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Parts Manager / Stores Person to join our dedicated team and play a key role in the continued growth of our parts department.
Based at our premises in Adare, Co. Limerick, you will be joining a progressive and expanding agricultural machinery and plant dealership representing leading international brands including CaseIH Agricultural, CaseIH Construction, Kverneland, Redrock, McConnell, Siloking, together with a wide range of other quality machinery and products.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced parts professional or someone looking to further develop their career within a busy, modern, and customer-focused dealership. Working closely with our sales, service, and accounts teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and success of our parts business.
Experience within the agricultural sector would be a distinct advantage, as you will be dealing daily with farmers, agricultural contractors, and plant machinery customers. Previous experience in a stores or parts environment is highly desirable. Full product and systems training will be provided, enabling you to become familiar with our brands and dealership management systems.
We are looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer parts enquiries both over the counter and by telephone.
- Order parts using supplier online ordering systems.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with regular stock takes.
- Manage seasonal stock ordering to ensure excellent parts availability.
- Process purchase invoices accurately within our computer system.
- Receive, inspect, and book in incoming goods.
- Package and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised parts department.
- Liaise with supplier representatives regarding parts availability and promotions.
- Monitor pricing to ensure competitive and profitable parts sales.
- Allocate parts correctly to retail, workshop, or warranty accounts.
- Work closely with the management team to help develop and grow the parts department.
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience working in a parts department or stores environment.
- Previous experience within an agricultural, plant or machinery dealership would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of agricultural machinery and the ability to interpret parts catalogues and manuals.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering first-class customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer literacy and the ability to learn dealership software systems.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Seasonal Saturday cover during busy periods
