Mechanical and Electrical Estimator
Job description:
Due to continued growth, EHS Engineering Contractors are seeking to hire a mechanical and electrical estimator in a permanent role working from our Kilkenny office. The ideal candidate would need industry knowledge and experience and will get the opportunity to work on a range of Commercial Projects, from the early construction stage through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
Responsibilities:
- Review and coordination of Mechanical and Electrical Design drawings & specifications.
- Preparation of bill of quantities and Tender Submittals.
- Generation of Data Sheets, Material Requisitions & Enquiry Packages for procurement of equipment.
- Assist with the generation of Mechanical and Electrical Claims and Variation Sheets.
- Interact with specialist sub contractors for pricing on projects.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Estimation or Building Service Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of professional experience with mechanical and electrical installations on commercial projects.
- Relevant experience is performing take offs and producing estimations on mechanical and electrical installation on commercial projects.
- Good communication and report writing skills have the initiative to work alone.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Pay: €50,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
