We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ homes, supporting daily living needs while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support.
- Travel to and from clients’ homes to deliver care and support services.
- Support clients during mealtimes, ensuring appropriate nutrition and hydration.
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families, offering emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in a client’s condition to the nursing team promptly.
- Deliver consistently high standards of emotional, social, and personal care.

Requirements
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent), or an applicable QQI Level 7 qualification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Home Care Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role (e.g., Care Skills, Care of the Older Person) preferred.
- A valid driving licence (Irish/EEA or international) is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Physical stamina to carry out required duties.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
