What you'll do:

Lead day-to-day DOC operations on the client site, supervising the team and ensuring schedules are planned and delivered effectively according to site requirements.

Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards across all areas through regular spot checks, effective planning, and ensuring adequate cover for holidays, sickness, and absenteeism.

Manage Health & Safety and compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, reporting hazards/incidents, managing accidents, and ensuring compliance with COSHH, fire, hygiene, and company/client procedures.

Manage and develop the team, including recruitment, induction, training, motivation, performance appraisals, team meetings, payroll administration, and maintaining accurate personnel and training records.

Manage operational systems and resources, including Kronos scheduling, inventory and stock levels, equipment maintenance, cleaning materials, cost control, and minimising unnecessary waste.

Monitor and report performance, maintaining accurate records, logs, safety metrics, KPIs, and documentation while ensuring service delivery meets company standards, contract specifications, and financial targets.

Provide strong on-site leadership and support, acting as the key point of contact for DOC-related issues, communicating actions and lessons learned, resolving operational challenges, and providing hands-on assistance when required.
