HvF is looking for a highly creative Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to join our growing creative team in Dublin.
This is a core creative role within the studio, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of motion, design, and storytelling, and who wants to shape high-impact work across commercial, corporate, and branded content.

At HvF, we produce visually driven content for ambitious brands across Ireland and beyond. Design, motion graphics, and editing sit at the heart of everything we do.
Our work spans fast-turnaround social content, brand campaigns, corporate storytelling, and high-end commercial production. The pace is fast, the standards are high, and creativity is expected at every stage.
You’ll be working closely with the Creative Director, Producers, Editors, and Videographers in a collaborative studio environment where ideas move quickly from concept to screen.
What You’ll Be Doing
Creative Direction & Visual Development
- Contribute to the visual direction of motion-led and design-led projects
- Research and develop references across motion, design, typography, and storytelling
- Support concept development including moodboards, storyboards, and pitch visuals
- Help shape narrative structure and on-screen messaging
- Maintain strong brand consistency across all deliverables
Motion Graphics & Design
- Design and animate high-quality motion graphics for video content
- Create animated titles, transitions, explainer content, and social-first assets
- Develop reusable motion systems, templates, and graphic packages
- Collaborate closely with editors to integrate motion seamlessly into edits
Post-Production
- Edit video content across a range of formats and platforms
- Enhance edits through motion graphics, typography, and design integration
- Work from briefs supplied by Producers, Directors, and clients
Collaboration & Quality Control
- Work closely with the wider creative and production team
- Take ownership of visual quality across assigned projects
- Proactively flag issues and contribute creative solutions
- Participate in regular reviews with the Creative Director and Studio & Partner Lead
What We’re Looking For
You are someone who:
- Has exceptional creative instincts and a strong design eye
- Is highly skilled in Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro (expert level)
- Has strong graphic design ability (typography, layout, branding, colour)
- Is confident in motion design and video editing
- Keeps up with modern motion trends, social formats, and digital storytelling
- Actively explores and uses AI tools in design, motion, or post-production workflows
- Is highly organised and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative production environment
