We're looking for an experienced Head of HR to lead our people function, shaping HR strategy and driving initiatives across talent, culture, and organisational development. As a senior member of the leadership team, you'll partner with the C-suite to align HR priorities with business goals, while leading and developing an HR team across generalist, talent acquisition, and employee relations functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with overall business objectives, including workforce planning, talent management, and organisational design.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team (generalists, coordinators, recruiters).
- Own end-to-end employee relations, including managing complex disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases in line with Irish employment law.
- Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategy to support business growth, including for technical and customer-facing roles.
- Drive employee engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
- Manage compensation and benefits strategy, including salary benchmarking and annual reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation (Employment Equality Acts, Organisation of Working Time Act, GDPR, etc.) and manage relationships with the WRC/Labour Court where needed.
- Lead change management initiatives, including restructuring, TUPE transfers, and organisational change.
- Own HR reporting and analytics, providing insights to leadership on headcount, turnover, and engagement metrics.
- Manage HRIS systems and drive process improvements/automation.
- Oversee learning & development strategy and succession planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people matters.
Requirements
- 8+ years' HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior HR management or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience leading and developing an HR team.
- Experience in telecoms, tech, or a fast-paced customer-facing industry advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with senior leadership.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
Pay: €38,515.10-€75,637.71 per year
